The Districts hold open
meetings to anyone with an interest in Lupus or associated autoimmune
diseases, friends, families and caregivers are welcome. The Lupus
Trust of New Zealand has a goal to achieve "Wellness".
Auckland North
Shore District Meetings
The Auckland North Shore District
meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month starting at 7:30pm
at the East Coast Bays Community Centre, 2 Glen Road, Browns Bay on
the 2nd floor.

Auckland West District Meetings
The Auckland West District meetings
are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month, March to November inclusive,
from 1.30pm - 3.30pm at the New Lynn Community Centre, Totara Ave,
New Lynn.

Cup of tea/coffee after each meeting
and raffles and books available to read from the library. To cover
the costs we incur with the meetings, a donation of $3.00 per person
or $5.00 per family will help us greatly.

- Monthly meetings from February
to November inclusive.
- Specialist Professional speakers
covering all aspects of Lupus.
- A Lupus reminder service. If you
wish, you will be telephoned each month reminding you of the date
and nature of the next Lupus meeting.
- Each Lupus group has its own library
and information folders, which hold articles extracted from the
Internet on all aspects of Lupus.
- North Shore and Waitakere Libraries
have copies of "The Lupus Book" by Daniel J. Wallace M.D.
- We offer the opportunity for people
with Lupus to meet others with Lupus and their carers.
- Topical newsletters are sent out
to members four times a year, keeping us in touch with each other.
- People with Lupus are supported
through all phases of their illness.
